Exactly what I was looking for. Inexpensive, sporty, and does exactly what I need to do. Love the wristband. The plastic wristband on my other Timex IM watch broke after a couple of years, but the nylon/velcro one seems like it won't have that problem. Only drawback is that it smells like dirty feet after it dries after a run, but wearing it in the shower or in the water seems to eliminate that problem. Doesn't make sense to me to wear an expensive watch for certain sports because if this one gets smashed you just get another one. My wife knocked my Garmin 405 off the dresser when it was out of warranty and the plastic face broke. Garmin did send me a brand new one for $70, though. I only wear the Garmin for running. Hard for it to get smashed unless you leave it on your wife's dresser or trip while trail running at night with a head-lamp...not that I would be so stupid as to do either of those things...again.
